Stop-Frame Animation Workshop at The Beacon
Budding animators aged 9–16 can get creative with Macs, apps and iPads in this fun, hands-on workshop with Animation Station.
Using models, toys and characters, participants will learn how to create their own stop-frame animation. They can experiment with both stand-up and flat characters before seeing their finished films screened on YouTube.
Children are welcome to bring toys, models or characters they would like to animate, and everything else will be provided. No previous animation experience is needed.
The workshop runs from 9.30am–3.30pm and is particularly well suited to younger participants within the age range. It is a drop-off session, so parents and carers do not need to stay.
