“In an ideal world, Jeremy Hardy would be extremely famous, but an ideal world would leave him without most of his best material.”

- The Guardian

‘Comedians often get stuck looking for new material, but only Jeremy would get himself shot at… well done’

– Mark Steel

Jeremy Hardy is one of the UK’s foremost and respected stand-up comedians. His live work has included Just 4 Laughs, (Montreal Comedy Festival), the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where he won the prestigious Perrier Award and numerous sell out tours of the UK and Ireland. Jeremy is an essential member of BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz and is a regular guest on I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue and Just a Minute.

Jeremy’s perhaps best remembered as a much younger man, but there is nothing he can do about that now. Still alive and able to speak unaided for lengthy periods, this show will be not so much be a one-man show as an under-staffed cavalcade.

He has written columns for The Guardian and Red Pepper and has written three books: When Did You Last See Your Father, a spoof childcare guide; Jeremy Hardy Speaks to the Nation, based on the radio series; and My Family and Other Strangers, an examination of his lacklustre ancestry, published last year.

‘Hilarious, detailed, gently self-deprecating act from a stand-up comic in complete control’

– The Independent
