Join us for some festive fun with a fantastic line-up of some of Britain's hottest comic talent. Tez Ilyas achieved phenomenal success with his debut stand-up, with sell-out runs and his own Radio 4 series, with a second series coming this year. Award-winning musical comedian Kate Lucas is known for her razor-sharp dark humour. Mo Gilligan is one of the UK's fastest rising social media stars reaching mutliple millions. All hosted by the popular TV face and radio presenter (The Johnny & Inel Show), Johnny Cochrane.

Tez Ilyas the ground running finding himself in no less than eight competition finals including the prestigious BBC New Comedy Award and Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year in his first as a stand up. In 2015 Ilyas achieved phenomenal success with his debut stand up hour TEZ Talks. A sell out run at the Soho Theatre and his own Radio 4 series based on the show followed, with a second series coming this year.

In 2016, his highly anticipated follow up show Tez Ilyas: Made in Britain went on to sell out every single performance (including extra shows) at the Edinburgh Fringe and gained spectacular critical acclaim, with a smash hit nationwide tour in 2017.

Tez has appeared on The Last Leg (C4), Mock the Week (BBC Two), Live From the BBC (BBC Two), Man Like Mobeen (BBC Three), Virtually Famous (E4), The Now Show (BBC Radio 4), @elevenish (ITV2) and made a brand new quiz show pilot for Vice. He has also written and starred in his own scripted comedy shorts for BBC Three, BBC iPlayer and Sky Arts

Essex boy Johnny Cochrane’s infectious charisma and cheeky charm landed him his own comedy sketch series on CBBC, alongside sidekick Inel Tomlinson. The Johnny & Inel Show was met with huge critical praise leading to nominations for two Royal Television Society Awards including Best Comedy Programme and Best Performance in a Comedy. As creator, writer and star of all 26 episodes, Cochrane quickly established himself as a bold and staggeringly ambitious Writer/Performer.

This rising star has since gone on to become a regular face on television with credits including: Safe Word (ITV2), The Funny Thing About (C5), The Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC), Sunday Brunch (C4), All Over the Place (CBBC) and Match of The Day Kickabout (BBC). He is also a firm favourite on radio, having presented two hugely successful high energy shows on both Fubar and Virgin.

His debut stand up show APPEAL was met with great critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe, with a Soho Theatre run to follow, solidifying his place as one of the UK’s brightest up and coming comic talents.

Award winning musical comedian Kate Lucas is known for her razor sharp and deliciously dark songs. She combines catchy melodies with original lyrics to showcase her playfully bitter musings on life. Audiences have come to expect examples of what not to say and how not to behave from this gloriously talented young comic.

In 2014, she took home the title for the prestigious Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year and her performances since have been met with huge critical acclaim. She has built a seriously impressive reputation on the circuit, storming it every weekend to packed out crowds at the country’s most famous comedy venues including The Glee Clubs, Banana Cabaret and Up the Creek.

Mo Gilligan

Mo Gilligan, aka Mo The Comedian, is a stand up comic and one of the UK’s fastest rising social media stars with an online reach running into the multiple millions.

With his high-energy style and stunning physicality, Mo creates his own shortform comedy content across a range of platforms, with huge viewer engagement. His sketches regularly go viral, trend and are shared by the likes of Stormzy, Tinie Tempah and Drake. He’s already collaborated with the likes of The BET Awards, Unilad, Wall of Comedy and Link Up TV, to name a few.

As a Stand Up Comedian he has already appeared on BBC Three, is a regular on BBC 1Xtra and performs at iconic venues such as The Hackney Empire, O2 & Bloomsbury Theatre.

He also currently has projects in development with Channel 4, BBC Three and Comedy Central.
